Blockpic
Terms of Use
Last updated 13 September 2026
These terms apply when you use Blockpic. Using the site means you accept them.
1. What the service does
Blockpic renders a Minecraft skin as a posed 3D character and lets you export it as a PNG image for use as a profile picture. It is provided free of charge. There is no subscription, no payment, and nothing to buy.
2. Who may use it
The editor is open to anyone. There is no sign-up, no sign-in, and nothing you have to tell us about yourself in order to use it.
3. Your work stays on your device
Skins you open and poses you save are kept in your own browser, not on our servers. We do not back them up and cannot recover them for you, so keep your own copies of anything you care about. Clearing your browser's site data will remove them.
4. Skins and images
You keep all rights to any skin you upload and to the images you export. We claim no ownership of them. Uploaded skins are processed entirely in your browser and are not transmitted to or stored by us, so there is nothing for you to license to us.
You are responsible for having the right to use any skin you upload. Do not upload artwork that belongs to someone else without permission, and do not use the service to create images that are unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexual in nature involving minors, or otherwise abusive.
5. Content we may remove
We may remove or block any name or image you submit through the service — including anything sent through the feedback form or an uploaded skin — if we consider it inappropriate: for example, because it is offensive, hateful, sexual, impersonates someone, or is otherwise abusive. We do not review content in advance, only when it comes to our attention. Repeated or serious misuse may result in your access to the service being blocked.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Interfere with, overload, or attempt to break the service or the servers it runs on.
- Use automated tools to make bulk username lookups, which would place load on both our server and Mojang's.
- Attempt to access data or areas of the service that are not meant to be public.
- Reproduce or resell the service itself as your own product.
7. Availability
The service is provided as-is and as-available. It is a small, free project: it may be offline, changed, or discontinued at any time, and features may be added or removed without notice. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that exports will be preserved — keep your own copies of anything you care about.
8. Third-party services
Minecraft username lookups are performed against Mojang's public APIs, and their availability and terms are outside our control. Links to other sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Blockpic is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, or lost profits arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case those exclusions do not apply to you.
10. Trademarks and affiliation
Blockpic is not an official Minecraft product, and is not approved by or associated with Mojang Synergies AB or Microsoft. "Minecraft" is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB. The name is used here only to describe what the tool does.
11. Open-source components
This site is built with, and includes copies of, the following:
- three.js — MIT License, © three.js authors.
- Sora — SIL Open Font License 1.1, © the Sora Project Authors.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms may change; the date at the top of this page will change with them. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled in the courts of England and Wales.
